I have been telling Don for years now that his breathing pauses while he sleeps. He had to take his Department of Transportation physical last week and failed due to his admitted sleep issues. So now he finally went in and did a sleep study last night. I will soon find out how it went and if I possibly have to listen to a CPAP machine the rest of my life.

They're not loud. Though with my super nose I can tell from sniffing in Allan's direction at night whether he still has his machine on, I can smell the plastic. He wears his for about two hours a night and then gets frustrated and throws it on the floor.
I've heard from many people that their lives improved once they were getting good quality sleep with the machine so I hope that happens for Don.
I hope so too.
