I applied for a job with the North Dakota Supreme Court a couple of weeks ago and the posting closed Friday. So here I am with a week and a half left of school, fingers crossed that I get a call back. Otherwise, I am completely clueless as to what I am going to do with my career... juvenile delinquents are wearing thin on me. Bless any one's heart that can make a career out of that, but it's not for me.

Benefits of Being a Woman
1. We got off the Titanic first.
2. We can scare male bosses with mysterious gynecological
disorder excuses.
3. We can be groupies. Male groupies are stalkers.
4. We can cry and get off speeding fines.
5. We've never lusted after a cartoon character or the central
figure in a computer game.
6. Taxis stop for us.
7. We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
8. Free drinks, Free dinners, Free movies (you get the point).
9. New lipstick gives us a whole new lease on life.
10. No fashion faux pas we make could ever rival The Speedo.
11. We don't have to fart to amuse ourselves.
12. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
13. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her
butt.
14. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our
privates are still there.
15. If we're dumb, some people will find it cute.
16. We have the ability to dress ourselves.
17. We can talk to people of the opposite sex without having to
picture them naked.
18. If we marry someone 20 years younger, we're aware that we
look like an idiot.
19. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your
problems.
20. We'll never regret piercing our ears.
21. We can fully assess a person just by looking at their shoes.
22. We'll never discover we've been duped by a Wonderbra.

17 days until graduation!!
I have been making progress in classes and the end is almost near. I checked our graduation seating chart today and I am sitting next to a girl I have gone to school with since junior high and worked with at Kaffee Kiosk..."It's a small world after all..."

I have the worst spring fever this week, it's incredible. The nice weather is really making me not want to be stuck inside working or doing homework! There weren't any classes yesterday, so I spent the morning outside with the dogs cleaning up the yard, raking, mowing, etc. I had to force myself to go inside to take an online exam and finish a paper...3 more weeks!

My last research paper ever is due tomorrow morning! I am dreading doing all the typing tonight but the research is done. I am the best procrastinator ever b/c it's due at 8 am and I haven't even begun typing. So...I am taking the laptop to work and doing it there and probably all night long. This could be a rough night.

QUIT DAY!!
Don's parents quit smoking Tuesday and today is Don's quit day. I haven't seen or talked to him yet because he is working in Stanley with my dad. But it probably made for an interesting day considering that my dad was running after him on the job site Wed. to steal his cigarettes. Good job Dad!

Viva Las Vegas!
The plane tickets are booked and my friend Shannon and I are officially going to Vegas July 16-21.. We are going to the Cirque show Love, Blue Man Group and possibly some others. It will be a great bachelorette week.

There are cooler ways to die
Don and his parents all smoke. Ick....it is probably their worst vice, in my opinion. Well, last week they all started taking Chantix and today is his parents' quit day and Friday is Don's. So far the parents have not smoked today...and hopefully Don will quit and follow thru Friday. I am so proud of them.
